In the Credit Repair world, there’s a catch-22 of sorts: How can you know if credit repair works if you can’t share results? Most companies will tell you their policy is they don’t share how many negative items they have removed, or how much their clients’ credit has improved.
One company is different. Lexington Law actually shares their results every quarter. Every negative item is shared with the world. The reason they do this is obvious: They remove so many more negative items than their competitors that no one else would ever-in their right mind- try to compete. Their 2006 study showed a staggering removal rate for their participating Concord-level clients (around 84% after a year). And their total negative items removed for 2011 is staggering (if you haven’t seen the total, then check it out now)
But the bigger question is: will it work for you?
That’s the important question everybody wants to know. Firstly, you have to take a step back and realize that any legitimate credit repair firm will never promise results. So the quick answer is, no one knows if it will work for you.
Whether you do your credit repair yourself, or you hire a respectable credit repair firm, you’re taking your chances. Sometimes you get unlucky and get nor results. Most people get average to good results. Some people hit the jackpot. You have to be honest with yourself and realize many times you are at the mercy of the credit Bureaus, which is why you want to arm yourself with the best credit repair service you can get.
