AnnualCreditReports.com is a pain in the butt!

I went to AnnualCreditReports.com because it's supposed to be a site where the credit bureaus let you have a free credit report once a year, but man they sure make it difficult.

- First, you have to go to each credit bureau individually,

- Then they ask you a whole bunch of personal financial questions that I wasn't even which was right (I didn't answer enough Trans Union questions right so they denied my access and said I had to call in)

- And last, each site is different and confusing. And they kept trying to sell me stuff along they way. They showed my payment history but won't give me my credit score unless I pay $7.

Whoever said there's no such thing as a free lunch was right!

Yeah, annualcreditreport.com is a pain. You essentially have to fill out the same form 3 times and hope you get the questions right to get your reports and no scores. I think the ones that give you a free trial are better, just make sure you cancel so you don't get charged.

Have you tried FreeCreditScore.com ? They really have some amazing credit score tools (best I've seen) for seeing why your score is where it's at. They give you a free trial (make sure you cancel in the given time-frame), or you can do like I'm doing, and sign up for all 3 credit reports, and have access to them, plus your score for a low monthly fee. I think it's worth it to stay on top of my score.
